Servo Motor to Drag Dynamometer Comprehensive Performance Test System |
The main function of the dynamometer is used to test the power of the engine, and it can also be used as a loading device for gearboxes, reducers and transmissions to test their transferred power. It is mainly categorized into hydrodynamic dynamometers, eddy current dynamometers, and electric power dynamometers. Among them, electric power dynamometers utilize electric motors to measure the torque output on the shafts of various power machines and combine them with rotational speeds to determine the power equipment.
Because the measured power machinery may have different speeds, so the motor used as a power dynamometer must be a smooth speed regulation of the motor. DC dynamometers, AC dynamometers and eddy current dynamometers are used more often.
According to the different currents used, it is divided into DC dynamometer, AC dynamometer, eddy current dynamometer.
According to the different loading methods, it is also divided into hysteresis dynamometer, magnetic particle dynamometer, eddy current dynamometer, electric power dynamometer.
According to the industry to use the name, such as electric bicycles, electric power-assisted vehicles, motorcycles and other chassis performance testing will also be a chassis dynamometer; there is a part of the motor test system will also be called motor dynamometer, motor dynamometer test system.
The principle of different dynamometers is not the same, the specific performance is also different, all the scope of application is also different.
Like hysteresis dynamometer is mainly used in small power high speed motor loading test, such as some small motor; and magnetic particle dynamometer for low speed and high torque, small and medium power loading test, such as small motors or gearboxes loading;
eddy current dynamometer is suitable for medium and high rotational speed, the power range applies to some of the larger loading test, such as motors, gearboxes, engines and so on, used for the engine test.
